Printing Therapy
To print medication items, select them, today's acutes are included by default, and then select Print or press F9 on your keyboard. The Prescription Manager screen displays:
Note - You cannot print items with a Source of Drug that is outside of your practice, the Print option is inactive. You are reminded by a 'Outside Practice item cannot be issued' message on the Therapy screen.
Prescription Manager consists of a number of tabs:
- Active Simple Tab - Lists items for print.
- Active (Full) Tab - Divides items into prescription pages, as per their type.
- Recent Tab - Lists recently printed medication, used for reprinting prescriptions where necessary.
- Rejected Tab - Displays rejected electronic prescription messages for EPS and ePharmacy.
- Show Prescription / Search Tab - Displays printed items for Reprint.
- All Tab - Displays all prescriptions and can be used to reprint prescriptions if required.
From Prescription Manager, select Print or press F9 on your keyboard to print the prescription.
Note - Every time a clinician is selected from Authorised Signatory in the Simple and Active tabs on Prescription Manager, the script type updates to suit the clinician's status. If a different clinician is then selected, the item selections do not change, even if the new person is able to sign more items. This is because the user may have already selected all the items they want to print and they will not want to have to redo that.
