Migrating to the Cegedim Primary Care Hosted Solution
Once your system has been updated to the latest Vision 3 release, you are ready to be migrated to the Cegedim Primary Care Hosted Solution. The migration to the Cegedim Primary Care Hosted Solution consists of:
Migration Kick Off Email
Your nominated contact receives your Migration Kick Off email, containing your migration date and links to the relevant training resources.
Carbonite Migrate Installation
Carbonite Migrate is the software that manages your data migration, Cegedim Healthcare Solutions installs and manages Carbonite Migrate on your behalf.
Setting up and Populating a Test Patient
You must now set up a test patient to be used for checking your migration, see Setting up and Populating a Test Patient for details.
Training
Once dates for your migration to the Hosted Solution are agreed, practice staff should start preparing by completing their training. To ensure all learning styles are catered for, the following training options are available:

eLearning - All staff must complete the ‘Moving to your Hosted Solution’ and ‘Your Business Continuity Solution’ eLearning modules to familiarise themselves with the changes that the move to the Hosted Solution makes to their day to day work pattern. Both modules are available from the Learning Zone.

Hosted Solution and Business Continuity webinars - These scheduled webinars cover the new Hosted Solution and the Business Continuity solution.

Data Migration
Your data migration runs, this is fully managed by Cegedim Healthcare Solutions and has no impact on you using your current system.
