Prevention Display
Choose either the Prevention tab or Prevention Summary Form.
The Prevention tab, on Initial Views 1 and 2 of the Vision 3 Patient Record, bears a strong resemblance to the VAMP Medical Prevention screen with similar lines: Allergy, Contraception, BP, Smoking, Alcohol, Recall, Immunisations, Height, Weight, Occupation and CHS (children only).
This can be displayed in either list or grid formats. When you initially view the screen in list format, all lines are collapsed, so only the latest record is shown against each category (except for immunisations). The number in brackets by each line shows the number of clinical records in that category.
Click on + to expand the lines in that category, and show any earlier records. Click on - to collapse the lines and show the latest record only.
If you click on Cancel on the data entry form in the bottom pane, or press Esc, the currently displayed Add screen is hidden and you are able to see more of the listed entries. Pressing Esc again redisplays the Add form (pressing the + key works in the same way, as long as the focus is not on the form). Or just right click-Add on an existing line, eg, BP, for which you want to make an entry - this brings up the corresponding Add screen. As you highlight each category line, a corresponding Add screen is shown in the bottom section. On the Prevention tab, you can use the Skip To function to find the category you want, and display the Data entry screen in the bottom pane.
Select Prevention Summary or select Summary - Prevention Display. This groups together the main health check categories of Allergy/Intolerance, Blood Pressure, Cervical Cytology, Contraception, Smoking, Alcohol, Exercise, Diet, Weight, Height and Urinalysis.
On the Prevention summary form, point to a prompt, for example, Weight, click with the right mouse and select Add. This displays an -Add screen for the entry. Make the entry and click on OK. Entries can be made for the following:
- Cytology - see Cervical Cytology.
- Contraception - see Contraception

- Diet- The default READ term is 13A.. 00 Diet - patient initiated. In Eating Habits, as well as <None>, the options are Good, Moderate, Poor, Not Examined. Remove Item from Problem List- First select the icon (it will appear depressed) and then double click on the item to be removed from the Problem View for that problem.
