Menu Toolbar

The toolbar options at the top of the Design mode/ Maintenance screen let you copy lines, cut and paste them, re-style them and most importantly, save the design you have created.

Design Mode toolbar

  • Select Guideline screen (or Alt-G-S)
  • Displays Guidelines or Reports Index
  • Expand all line levels (ie show Level 1 and below - ie sub-headings and the lines underneath; Level 1 is against the left-hand margin, Level 2 indented a little, and so on) (in View mode only, and not Design mode)
  • Collapse all line levels below Level 1 (sub-headings only will show) (in View mode only, and not Design mode)
  • Performs selected action(s), often Print, and exit (not used in Design Mode). Usually you block highlight the section beforehand to select it, for instance printing a patient advice section
  • Toggle Design Maintenance mode (turn editing mode on or off) depressed when in design mode.
  • Copy selection to Clipboard (<Ctrl C>)
  • Cut selection and put on Clipboard (also <Ctrl X>)
  • Paste (insert Clipboard selection) (also <Ctrl V>)(see Copy, Cut, Paste),
  • Transfer line styles to other lines - (see Guidelines/Reports Design - Style)
  • Save the active document (see Save and Exit from Guidelines Design mode)
  • Print Options
  • Help
  • Exit.
