Data Checking
Once you have signed the Data Consent Form, Cegedim Healthcare Solutions performs a trial data conversion, which is then made available to your practice for evaluation.
We recommend appropriate resources, for example, a Clinical/GP Lead, an administrator and a pharmacist are allocated to identify any data quality issues pre-migration and also address any unmatched drugs/codes identified during the conversion. The amount of time to do this varies between practices.
We recommend that data checking is performed on approximately 100 data rich patients. You should consider expanding this sample size if data quality issues are experienced.
Data checking should be done on a wide array of patients of all genders, including permanent, deceased, new born, elderly, regular and temporary residents and patients on your Chronic Disease Registers.
This is an important and involved process and protected time away from interruptions is strongly recommended.
It is the responsibility of the practice to check the quality of the converted data and in the interest of the practice to raise any issues encountered, as you may not be able to correct some issues after go-live. Please notify us of any issues by email to data.services@visionhealth.co.uk as soon as they arise to allow Cegedim Healthcare Solutions to address them in a timely manner.
The following are recommendations for data checking:
Once you are satisfied with the quality of the converted data and all issues have been reported and resolved, or a resolution agreed, with Cegedim Healthcare Solutions, you must sign the Data Acceptance form, agreeing that your test data is acceptable.
It is recommended that this phase be completed no later than 6 weeks before your go live date.

When verifying the converted data, please log any queries with Cegedim Healthcare Solutions via email.
