RSV Vaccination Programme 2024

The National Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccination programme aims to protect infants and elderly people from contracting RSV. We have introduced two RSV Vaccination Programme 2024 pathways to assist you to manage the RSV vaccination programme using Vision+.

The two pathways are:

RSV (Adults) Vaccination Programme (ID 2046) - This pathway focuses on all adults turning 75 years old on or after the 1st September 2024. It also includes a catch up programme for patients 76-80 years of age.
RSV (Pregnancy) Vaccination Programme (ID 2048) - This pathway focuses on female patients that are over 28th weeks pregnant.

Note - There are no specific invitation READ or SNOMED CT codes for the RSV Vaccination Programme 2024 however generic invitation codes with qualifying text have been created for you to record on a patient's record, if required.

Using the two RSV Vaccination Programme 2024 pathways, you can:

Run a Practice Report to view, and send invitations to, patients in your practice's routine and catch up cohorts.
