Creating Local Summaries

You can create a local practice summary for patients using the SCR functionality. This can also be used for patients who have opted not to have an official SCR on the national Spine. This summary is stored locally in Vision 3 and is not accessible to 3^rd parties. However, the summary will be uploaded onto the Spine if the patient ever changes their preference to "I want a Summary Care Record". Local summaries are maintained in the same way as an SCR for upload but are not sent.
