Adding an Immediately Necessary Treatment Patient

When adding an Immediately Necessary Treatment patient, follow the procedure outlined in Adding a Temporary Resident, noting the following differences:

• From Registration - Personal Details - Registration Status, select Immediately Necessary Treatment.
• Add the patient's temporary address while registered with your practice as the Main Address if this is not already entered by default. You do not need to add a second address for the patient unless you wish to.
• If your practice is able to claim rural mileage, click on the Registration - Other Details Tab, and enter these, as they are valid for Immediate Necessary Treatment claims.
