SCR Ineligible Patients
When a Summary Care Record (SCR) upload is complete there may be some patients identified as Failed or Not Required:
- Failed - Failed to send the SCR or consent to the NHS Spine.
- Not Required - An SCR or consent record is not required for the patient, for example, they are not eligible for SCR.
Patients may be in these categories because:
- They have an Unlinked patient record with a PDS/ACS mismatch.
- Their record may have been in use during the upload process, therefore their record was skipped.
- They may have an existing National Summary so they are excluded from the Initial Upload.
- They have an active FP69 Flag.
- They may be marked as a Sensitive record.
- They have a consent preference of Dissent.
Use the SCR Reporter to identify patients and try to resolve the problem. Once resolved you can run the upload again using either:
-
Initial Upload - Failed - Reruns failed uploads, seeReprocessing Failed SCR Initial Uploads for details, or
-
Initial Upload - Rerun - Reruns the full upload again, see Re-running the SCR Initial Upload for details.
You can use the Patient Group option and create a group of the patients you have resolved and use this when rerunning the upload if required, see Summary Care Record (SCR) Patient Group Option for details.
