SCR Ineligible Patients

When a Summary Care Record (SCR) upload is complete there may be some patients identified as Failed or Not Required:

  • Failed - Failed to send the SCR or consent to the NHS Spine.
  • Not Required - An SCR or consent record is not required for the patient, for example, they are not eligible for SCR.

Patients may be in these categories because:

  • They have an Unlinked patient record with a PDS/ACS mismatch.
  • Their record may have been in use during the upload process, therefore their record was skipped.
  • They may have an existing National Summary so they are excluded from the Initial Upload.
  • They have an active FP69 Flag.
  • They may be marked as a Sensitive record.
  • They have a consent preference of Dissent.

Use the SCR Reporter to identify patients and try to resolve the problem. Once resolved you can run the upload again using either:

You can use the Patient Group option and create a group of the patients you have resolved and use this when rerunning the upload if required, see Summary Care Record (SCR) Patient Group Option for details.
