Patient Groups and Recalls

Patient Groups allows you to merge and modify groups of patients created and saved from the Search and Reports, Clinical Audit andRegistration modules. You can also generate recalls, producing individualised recall letters with names and addresses, for example, all patients due for cervical smear recall in the near future.

Patient Groups allows you to:

• Generate History - Add a coded history entry to a group of patients in bulk.

• Group Maintenance - Process groups saved from searches. The patients in a group can be viewed and individual patients added or removed. Groups can be merged together, eliminating or including patients common or specific to a group. For example, a group of smokers can be merged with a group of those with high blood pressure and the resulting group consist of smokers with high BP.

• Mail Merge - Mail merge a group from Patient Groups. Templates of standard recall letters are first created, see Setting up Template Letters in the Utilities Help Centre for details.

• Address labels - Print labels, either individually or as a group. A variety of dot matrix and laser label sizes can be printed.
