Select Guidelines Screen, Reports Index, View and Print

Reports can be viewed on-screen, edited, or copied to provide variations of a report.

  1. Select Guidelines - Select Guideline.
Training Tip - If the Guideline Index screen displays, select New Guideline to display the Select Guideline screen.
  2. Tick Reports at the bottom of the Select Guideline screen.
  3. Untick Locally generated at the bottom of the Select Guideline screen.
  4. Click into the main large white pane to display the complete Reports Index. Alternatively, you can enter the full title, or part of a title, of a report mnemonic in the Mnemonic window, for example, enter 'R_' and press Enter to find all system reports beginning with 'R _'.

Or, you can enter a specific report title by typing the first few letters of a known report shorthand title in Mnemonic to display a specific report then press Enter, for example, ALLCONS for All Consultations, ENCOUNTER for the Encounter Report.

System distributed reports display, for example, Encounter for an Encounter Report, ALLMEDICAL for and All Medical History report. These are template reports which you can use as they are, or copy and edit them in whatever way you want. The pre-defined Reports, list at the end of the alphabetical reports index, V_Reports: VAMP Reports - incorporates most of the other standard reports listed in the index.

  5. Either:
    • Highlight the report you want by and select either View or Print, or if you want to print several reports at once, hold your Control key down and highlight multiple reports, or

Double click on a report in the index to print that report.

If the patient has no data relevant in this report, the message 'After the relevant filtering has been performed for this patient, the guideline contains no information' message displays, select OK to close.

  6. Now, select as required:
    • View - If you selected View the report displays on-screen in its condensed form. The on the header line indicates that this is a report, as opposed to a guideline. If there is any male or female symbol by it, then the report only applies to patients of that sex. Select Expand to expand all the lines with your patient's data, see Viewing a Report on-screen and the Options for details.
    • Go - Select Go to print the report out (you can omit expanding the lines before selecting Go, because this will automatically print all the lines including their sub-levels).

Select New Guideline to return to the Index screen if you want to select another report.

    • Print - If you select Print, the report(s) printed expanded, incorporating data for the currently selected patient. See Printing a Report for details.

    • Groups - If you select a patient group and then select the first patient in the group, display the Select Guidelines screen and select a report as explained in steps 1-3 above. Then click on Print Group to print reports for all members in that group.

Note - To print this topic select Print in the top right corner and follow the on-screen prompts.
