Welcome to Vision 3 Registration Links

Registration Links allows:

  • England and Wales - Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) between GP practices and active Health Authorities using the HealthLink network.

  • Scotland - Partners is the national project to introduce EDI between general practices and Health Board's Primary Care Departments, using X.400 message handling service.

The links permit the two-way exchanges of data covering Registration changes.

In this help centre, the phrase Registration Links implies those linked in England & Wales, Partners link in Scotland, and those in Northern Ireland.

For the purposes of communication, in this help centre, all linked Health Authorities in England, Wales, and the Health Boards in Scotland and CSA or NI in Northern Ireland are referred to as Trading Partners (TP). Where there is no link, the abbreviation Health Authority (HA), Health Board (HB) or Central Services Agency (CSA) is still used.
