Creating New Local Guidelines and Patient Reports
One of the essential differences between a Report or Guideline is that if a Guideline is categorised as a Report, it goes straight to print when selected from an Index. If it is categorised as a Guideline, it displays on your screen ready for you to make a decision regarding any further action. The other difference is that Guidelines are usually used for data entry, whereas Reports are used for displaying data only.
You can change existing Reports into Guidelines or Guidelines into Report from the Header screen, see Guideline and Report Header
See Guidelines - How They Can Be Used... for details.
Note - To print this topic select Print in the top right corner and follow the on-screen prompts.
