Creating New Local Guidelines and Patient Reports

This section deals exclusively with adding new Patient Reports or Guidelines, or copying and amending existing ones.

Remember that one of the essential differences between a Report or Guideline is that if categorised as a report, it will go straight to printing when selected from a guideline/reports index. If a local guideline, it will first display on-screen from which you can then print. The other difference is that guidelines are usually used for data entry, whereas reports tend not to have data entry spots and are used for displaying data only.
