What Data is Synchronised with the PDS?
The following lists provide details of data that is currently synchronised between Vision and the PDS:
- Business effective dates, see Business Effective Dates
- Current/usual name
- Date of birth
- Gender (Male/Female/Indeterminate)
- NHS number
- Current/main address details, see Address Details
- Communication details, see Communication/Telephone Details
- Consent to Share Clinical Data
- GP practice code (registered GP code is also held locally but will not be synchronised with the PDS).
- Primary care details, see Primary Care Details – Dispensing Details
Data with which there is a genuine difference will be highlighted in red. Differences in the below are not classified as genuine differences and will not result in a field being highlighted:
- Whitespace/blanks
- Punctuation characters
- Case discrepancies
