Calculator Options

Vision+ Calculators are being rewritten so that they all conform to the same standard which includes a new style and layout. The following Calculators are the first to adopt the new standard:

  • Diabetes Risk Calculator
  • JBS 2 CVD Risk Calculator
  • QAdmission Calculator

Calculator Changes - Red Box

You also see the colour and warning alongside the actual score if data is missing or is invalid.

Calculator Changes - Yellow Warning messages

  • Reset Button - The reset option enables you to reset the calculator to the original settings. If you have demonstrated a 'What If' scenario to the patient and their predicted risk has been adjusted, you must click reset if you are going to save the patient's risk score.
  • Red box - A red box indicates that the data is invalid and will stop the calculation.
  • Yellow box - A yellow box means there is a warning, for example, Ethnicity is missing so a default value of British is used on the QAdmissions Calculator.
  • Tooltip - If you hover your mouse over a red or yellow box a tooltip appears detailing the warning.

You can also easily differentiate between boxes that need an entry and those that are for information purposes only.
