What is Clinical Correspondence Used For?

From Clinical Correspondence-Add, you are able to generate outgoing letters, and also record incoming correspondence.

Every time you create a referral letter from Referral-Add, you will automatically make a record in Clinical Correspondence.

To list any letters added from the Recalls and Referrals screens, either select List – Correspondence; or alternatively from the navigation pane on the Patient Record, click on the Miscellaneous icon/+ then highlight the Correspondence line, to show a list of letters in the Filtered tab. You could then click with the right mouse and select Add, Edit, Item View etc.

Miscellaneous also includes any Notepad entries.

Clinical Correspondence - Add is also reached from : Add - Correspondence

On the Clinical Correspondence – Add screen:

Type of Letter - First enter the Type of Letter - Referral (the default), <None>,Clinical, Patient, Practice or Recall.

The other fields depend on whetherit is an incoming letter(seeIf you want to record an incoming letter), or an outgoing letter (see To generate an outgoing letter).
