What do I need to do?

1. Download DMARDs Manager onto your system. See Downloading Web Files.
2. Add a shared care agreement to the patient record. See Activating Shared Care Prescribing Agreement and Drug Monitoring Frequency.
3. Add drug monitoring frequency to the patient record. See Activating Shared Care Prescribing Agreement and Drug Monitoring Frequency.
4. Ensure patients receive monitoring in line with their shared care agreement.
5. You can now take full advantage of the following DMARDs Manager essential tools:
   • DMARDs Reports, see Running the DMARDs Manager PLUS Reports.
   • DMARDs Management Template, see Managing your Patients using the DMARDs Manager PLUS Template.

Please note the following:

• You must record a patient's shared care agreement and their drug monitoring frequency. This needs to be repeated for each high risk drug that an individual patient may be on. DMARDs Manager can then flag due/overdue tests in line with this.
• DMARDs Manager does not manage abnormal test results. Please follow your normal practice protocol for this.
