Running LibreOffice Calc Extracts
Vision+ now supports the generation of LibreOffice Calc extract reports. These replace the Microsoft Excel Specialist Reports used to extract data from the Vision 3 Database and present it in Excel. The Reports are distributed using the same mechanism as Vision + templates
The list of extracts that are planned for release are:

• Patient Record Report
1. Log in to Vision 3 in the usual way.
2. From the Windows Notification area, right click Vision+ 
and select Practice Reports:
Note - To access Practice Reports, close all open consultations in Consultation Manager. The Practice Mode menu then displays.
3. From the Practice Reports menu, select the Extracts section. The Local LibreOffice Calc Extracts module displays.

The downloaded LibreOffice Calc Extracts display in the right-hand pane.
4. From the list of available LibreOffice Calc Extracts, select the extract you want to run.
Important: Your practice LibreOffice security settings may display a security warning after selecting a LibreOffice Calc Extract This is standard behaviour with LibreOffice.
5. If a Security Warning displays, select Enable Macros to continue running the LibreOffice Calc Extract process. If no warning displays, the LibreOffice Calc Extract opens automatically:

Once the LibreOffice Calc Extract spreadsheet opens, it is ready to generate an extract.
6. Follow the instructions detailed on the spreadsheet and complete all fields as required.
7. Choose the displayed action to compile the report.
8. Once the report runs any returned results display.
