Chronic Medication Service (CMS) Message Management
Under CMS a patient registers with a Community Pharmacy (CP). When that patient receives a CMS prescription, their medication is repeatedly dispensed by that CP over an agreed period of time, currently 24, 48 or 56 weeks.
It is therefore important that you can send, receive and process information relating to their registration, dispensing and treatment summary reports, which includes any replacements and deletions.
