Errors Tab

The Errors tab displays any errors that occur while loading existing prescriptions from the database or while allocating newly created items into new prescriptions.

Existing prescriptions and new items are (re)loaded when:

  • You select a patient.
  • Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is activated or deactivated.
  • Therapy items are added, edited or deleted via either the Therapy tab or the Journal tab for Therapy Advice.
  • Prescription Manager is launched after a PDS status for the patient is confirmed, depending on the EPS and PDS status.
  • An action is initiated from Prescription Manager, for example Print, Reprint or change of script type for example, Paper to Dual.

There is generally nothing you can do to fix the problem, but access is provided to the error in case it explains a problem you are having. Sometimes deselecting and reselecting the patient clears the problem and this should be your first step after seeing an error.

All errors, including loading errors, that occur during an action initiated from Prescription Manager display in a warning message, so you are actively notified of the problem.

Examples of likely errors you may see are:

  • An item could not be determined, either the item has been deleted or its type has changed.
  • A drug could not be determined, either the drug has been deleted or its type has changed.
  • The patient information could not be determined.

Please deselect and then reselect the patient from the Consultation menu before printing or reprinting any prescriptions. If you encounter the same problem again please contact your System Administrator.
