Adding School and Sixth Form College

The school or college a child attends can be added to their patient record.

Training Tip - Ensure you add any schools or colleges you want to add to a patient record in Management Tools - Control Panel - File Maintenance - Organisation - School, see What Other Organisations Should I Set Up? in the Management Tools Help Centre for details.

To record a school or college:

  1. From Consultation Manager, select the patient in the usual way.

  2. In Read Term - Add, enter '#13Z4' and press enter on your keyboard. The Schooling - Chs - Add screen displays:

  3. Complete as appropriate:

    • Read Term - Select the appropriate type of school or college.

    • School name - Select the school or college.

  4. Select OK to save.

Sixth Form College

To record a sixth form college:

  1. From Consultation Manager, select the patient required.

  2. Select Medical History - Add .

  3. In Read Term for Characteristic, enter '#ZP126' and press Enter on your keyboard.

  4. Enter the college name in Comment. This displays in the patient record as 'Attending sixth form college [name of college]'.

  5. Select OK to save.
