Investigations

The picklist for investigation Read terms may include many hierarchical codes (the list below shows the default in each case but not a definitive list).

Remember to change the Result Qualifier picklist, for example, Normal, Abnormal, Potentially Abnormal. For numerical results, enter the Value - note you can use the picklist with =, <, >, ~.You may optionally enter the normal range.

• Glucose tolerance test - default 44V Glucose tolerance test
• Blood glucose - default 44U Blood glucose result
• Fasting glucose - default 44T2 Fasting blood sugar
• HbA1C - Diabetic control - default 42W5.00 Haemoglobin A1c level - IFCC standardised, and also includes 42W Hb.A1C - diabetic control, and 42c HbA1 - diabetic control
• Fructosamine - default 44Z1 Serum fructosamine, also 44TD Fructosamine level.
• Serum Cholesterol - default 44P Serum cholesterol, including 44OE Plasma totalcholesterol level.
• Triglycerides - default 44Q Serum triglycerides, and also 44e Plasma triglyceridelevel.
• Thyroid function - default 442 Thyroid hormone tests, and hierarchical codes.
• Serum creatinine - default 44J3 Serum creatinine, and hierarchical codes.
• Urinalysis - Glucose - default 466 Urine test for glucose and hierarchical codes.
• Urinalysis - Protein - default 467 Urine proteintest, and hierarchical codes, andincluding 44JG Overnight albumin excretion rate.
• Urine microalbumin - default 46W Urine microalbumin, and hierarchical codes.
