Issuing a Duplicate MED3

Duplicate MED3 forms can be printed by all Vision 3 users with the appropriate access right.

Note - Issued by Hand MED3's cannot be duplicated.

To print a duplicate MED3:

  1. From Consultation Manager , select the patient and open a consultation if required.
  2. Locate the previous MED3, you can use Miscellaneous in the navigation pane.
  3. Right click and select Edit.
  4. The existing printed MED3 Statement displays, Type is automatically updated to Duplicate.
  5. From Read Term, select one of the following:
    • 9D17.00 - eMED3 (2010) duplicate issued, not fit for work
    • 9D18.00 - eMED3 (2010) duplicate issued, may be fit for work
    • 9D1D.00 - eMED3 (2010) duplicate issued
  6. Select Print Form , the MED3 statement prints with a Duplicate watermark. See Editing a MED3 Form and Appendix.
  7. Select OK to save and close.
