Monitored Dosage System (MDS)
If a patient is a registered for Monitored Dosage System (MDS), a tick box displays against each item. There is an option to enter the MDS start date, which defaults to today’s date, for forward planning. The tick boxes are then automatically checked and the number of labels default according to the following rule:
- If the number of treatment days is greater than 0, the number of labels is the treatment days divided by 7 (rounded up).
- If the treatment days is 0, one label prints.
- The date that prints on the labels is the start date plus seven days for each label.
