Guideline Tab Toolbar

The Local Guideline Index tool bar contains the following options:

• Arrows - Select to navigate back and forth through the Guidelines used in this session. Using the left arrow initially, takes you to the main Guideline Index.
• Open Plan - Select to display the Select Guideline by Mnemonic screen.
• Guideline Index - Select to open the Guideline index, from here you can double click on a line to view on screen.
• Expand All - Select to expand all the lines of the selected Guideline.
  Training Tip - Do not use this from the Guideline Index, it takes hours to expand all the text lines in all the Guidelines.
• Collapse All - Select to collapse all the lines of the selected Guideline.
• Font - Select to enlarge or reduce the size of the text, that display in this consultation.
• Go - Select to perform an action, for instance, to print patient advice, select once in the section to block highlight it, and then select Go.
• Print - First highlight the report required and then either expand the lines, or select Print Hidden Lines. This prints the report including the currently selected patient's details.
• Attach - Select to add this Guideline as a .gif attachment in Attachment - Add. This can then be attached to, for example, a referral letter.

Adding new Guidelines Tabs

You can add any number of tabs to your view for different Guidelines, simply right click on a tab, select Data View Pane Options - Organise Tabs - Add - Guideline View.

Each newly added tab goes to the bottom of the list, we strongly recommend that you move each new Guideline tab up the list, leaving the original Guideline at the bottom of the list so it appears on the far right when viewing the patient record.
