Prescribing Message
Within a Guideline, a Prescribing Message is text supporting the subsequent drug regime and is relevant for the clinician. In the Acute Myocardial Infarction example, see Guidelines - Creating a Guideline, there is first a Heading of 'Analgesia', then a Sub-heading of 'Prescribing Message'. Finally there is the text of the message.
- If you are entering a text, such as Aim, Reference, Supportive Text, Prescribing Message, first make a sub-heading with one of these headings.
- Then click Text on the floating toolbar to insert a text line after the sub-heading.
- If you are entering either Patient Advice or Drug Information for Patient , use these specific icons on the floating toolbar. There is no need to enter a sub-heading first and this is already incorporated.
- A text screen displays. You may either type text in, or by selecting Import, you can select a file from elsewhere, for example, Notepad, LibreOffice or Word, and import text from there.
- Select OK.
