Classic Printer Setup

Note - Classic Printer Set up is no longer used.

To set up a printer for the workstation you are working at:

  1. From the Vision front screen, select Options - Set-Up.
  2. Select the System tab and check the correct country is selected, if not select the correct country.
  3. Select the Printers.
  4. From Prescription, select the printer you use to print prescriptions.
  5. Select the appropriate Port:
    • A parallel printer is usually LTP1
    • A serial printer is usually LTP2
  6. Now select Select.
  7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for Drug Labels if you print them.
  8. Select OK to save and close.

You can set up all the printers from one workstation using the Staff Maintenance Utility within Control Panel - File Maintenance this saves you from having to move around each machine.
