Imported and Secondary Care Drugs

After careful consideration and consultation with the NHS Dictionary of Medicines and Devices (dm+d) some of the restrictions for Imported and Secondary drug prescribing have been lifted.There are appropriate warning messages to ensure you are aware when prescribing drugs of this type.

Secondary Care Drugs

Secondary Care displays in the drug status line:

Therapy - Select Drug - Secondary Care Item

After selecting the drug, completing the - Add screen and selecting OK, the following message displays:

Click Yes to continue or No to return to Therapy - Add.

Imported Drugs

Imported displays in the drug status line:

Therapy - Select Drug - Imported item selected

After selecting the drug, completing the - Add screen and selecting OK, the following message displays:
