Using Copy from the Therapy List

To quickly and easily copy an existing acute prescription:

1. From Consultation Manager , with the correct patient selected, locate the therapy item you wish to copy.
2. Right click on it and select Copy. If the Copy option is not available, this means the item is not valid for copying purposes and you need to add the acute from scratch.
3. The Therapy - Add screen displays.
4. Check the details carefully, and update if required, entering a number into Repeat to turn it into a Repeat Master.

   Note - If you have Use Gemscript Posology defaults ticked in Consultation - Options - Setup - Therapy - General, when you copy a therapy item where you have entered your own dosage text, the copied item has the Gemscript defaults rather than your dosage text.

5. Select OK and issue in the usual way.
