Nurse Prescribing Changes in DLM 230 (spring 2007)

• Currently, nurse, supplementary and independent prescribers are not eligible to print private controlled drug prescriptions in Vision. This restriction is due to be removed in the near future. Until then, a warning is given: Nurse, Supplementary and Independent prescribers are not eligible to print private, discontinued or non-NHS drugs or drugs for private patients and the private CD is deselected.
