This Guideline is Empty or After Relevant Filtering
You may see a message:
Guideline is empty - do you want to delete the plan?
Or alternatively,
After the relevant filtering has been performed for this patient, the guideline contains no information.
This could be a problem with the Guideline Index - it thinks it is empty and has no guidelines in it.
What you need to do is to create a new Guideline, and then embed all the other guidelines within this.
- From Select Guidelines, click on New.
- On the Header screen, make sure the box Main Index is checked. Call the new guideline something which identifies it as the guideline index. Category should be Local Guideline.
- Once the new Guideline screen is shown in Maintenance mode, click on Sub-Heading and again, make sure the Main Index box is checked.
- Now embed every guideline you want included in the Index by clicking on Embed , then selecting each guideline from the Select Guideline screen.
- Save the screen and exit.
