What Data is Synchronised with the PDS?

The following list is the data that is currently synchronised between Vision 3 and the PDS:

• Business effective dates, see Business Effective Dates.
• Current/usual name.
• Date of birth.
• Gender (Male/Female/Indeterminate).
• NHS number.
• Current/main address details, see PDS - Address Details.
• Communication details, see PDS- Communication/Telephone Details.
• Consent to Share Clinical Data.
• GP practice code (registered GP code is also held locally but will not be synchronised with the PDS).
• Primary care details, see Primary Care Details - Dispensing Details.

Data with which there is a genuine difference will be highlighted in red. Differences in the below are not classified as genuine differences and will not result in a field being highlighted:

• Whitespace/blanks.
• Punctuation characters.
• Case discrepancies.
