Prerequisites for EPS R2 Phase 3
In order to use Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) Release 2 Phase 3, you must:
- Have been instructed by your ICB to go ahead.
- Have the relevant Role Based Access (RBAC) roles added to your Smartcard, see RBAC Roles for the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) for details.
Note - Once RBAC is enabled you can only allocate messages in Mail Manager to other staff members that have logged into Vision 3 with their Smartcard at least once.
