Extending Multiple Books

Books must be extended on a regular basis to allow appointment booking in advance. The length of time the books are extended for depends on the settings for the individual book owners, see Owner Extensions for further details.

To extend multiple books:

1. From the Extension plan screen, either:
   • Check the Filter to ensure the books you want to extend are all displaying, or
   • Hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and left click on the owners to select them.
   Training Tip - You can select Extension plan from the Appointments Setup menu if required.
   

2. Select Extend all owners displayed :

   

   Note - If all the books are extended to their maximum length Extend all owners displayed is unavailable.

The Please confirm the book extensions screen displays, once checked, select Confirm :




3. A progress indicator displays during the extension process:
   

   

4. On completion the Extend Books completed message displays select OK :

5. Select Close to return to the Extension Plan.
