Medicare from Black Pear Software

Medicare from Black Pear Software uses the most advanced tools on the market to help ensure clinicians never make an uninformed decision.

Medicare products pull live information straight from relevant sources including the patient's GP record and holds it securely on the cloud in a single source of truth. Every service works with the same real time data with the view tailored to your role.

To use Medicare from Black Pear Software products:

1. From your clinical system, open the patient record required and then select the Medicare application. Your Medicare service for the selected patient displays in your default browser.

2. Select the service you require from the available options.

3. The appropriate patients are returned from the Personal Demographics Service ((Undefined variable: General.PDS)), select the patient you require from the list.

4. The patient details display at the top of the screen with the link to their Live Record underneath:

   

   Select View Results and Obs to display the Medicare patient record viewer:

   

5. Once you are finished with the data, select Close to close the browser.

Available services include:

• Immedicare Wales - A solution designed for the care home setting. When accessed, key clinical data in the care plan can be updated instantly from the patient's GP record. This ensures the latest information is available when required.
