Adding an Encounter
To add an Encounter:
Important - A patient record is not locked when you open an Encounter, other users can access and add to the same patient record at the same time.
- From Vision Anywhere, open a patient record, see Selecting a Patient for details.
- From the Patient Summary screen, select New encounter and the Current Encounter screen displays:
- Select an encounter type from the list available, the default is Surgery consultation note:
- Select the date and time to update if required:
- You can now record your consultation, see Adding Clinical Data for details.
- Select Close this Encounter to finish and send the details back to the patient record.
