Leaving an Encounter Open

  1. If you want to come back to an encounter later, navigate away from the Current Encounter screen by selecting Menu and choosing either Home or Appointments.
  1. Depending on your preferences settings, you are prompted that the encounter is still open and has not been added to the patient record, select Continue.
  1. Your encounter now displays on the Vision Anywhere Home screen under Encounters in Progress:
  1. You can now continue to select another patient or exit Vision Anywhere.
Note - Encounters do not upload to the patient record until they are closed, any open encounters automatically delete after 90 days.
Open encounters save locally on your device and cannot be accessed from any other setting.
