Encounter Preferences

You can enable active reminders to show you that you are offline or leaving an encounter open.

To change your Encounter Preferences, select Settings at the top of the Vision Anywhere front screen.

Note This is a user specific setting. The default setting for these options is on for all users.

Use the slider On/Off options to show/hide encounter reminders.


  • Offline Encounters - You are prompted that you are offline and the encounter is saved when a connection is established.
  • Open Encounters - You are prompted when leaving an encounter open, that it has not been closed and will not be uploaded to the patient record.

Note - Open encounters are saved on your device and are not available from any other setting.
It is important to synchronise the updated consultations, otherwise the data is deleted after 90 days.
