Nursing Home Patients


 

1. Adding a Patient

Before you can dispense items to a nursing home patient, you have to tell the system that the patient lives in the nursing home.

To add a nursing home patient:

  • Select the MDS tab.

  • Click Add.

  • Enter the patient's personal details (you do not need to enter an address as this will be done automatically later).

  • Click OK.

  • Click OK to select the new patient.

The patient will now appear on the MDS screen, and their address will be set to the nursing home.

2. Changing a Patient's details

To change a nursing home patient's details:

  • Click the patient's name in the list.

  • Click Details.

  • Change the patient's details.

  • Click OK.

3. Removing a Patient

To remove a patient from a nursing home:

  • Click the patient's name in the list.

  • Click Remove.

  • Click Yes to confirm that you want to remove the patient.

 

 This only removes the patient's details from the nursing home. It does not delete the patient's details from your system.
