Overriding Automatic DILs Printing

 

When you have set the system to Print DILs Leaflets Automatically, a message will appear as items are dispensed saying, 'A DILs leaflet will be printed – do you wish to override?'

  • If you do not want a leaflet, use the & shortcut to stop a leaflet printing;

or

  • use

Menu > Item > Override DILs leaflet

or

  • double-click the message and select YES to override printing.

No leaflets for particular patients

You can switch off Leaflet printing for individual patients if required.

  • To switch off printing for individual patients, remove the 'Print DILs leaflets' tick on the Patient's Details.

No leaflets for all patients for a particular prescriber

You can switch off Leaflet printing for ALL patients for a particular prescriber, if required.

  • To switch off and prevent automatic printing for all patients with a particular prescriber, remove the tick against 'Print DILs for patients belonging to this Prescriber' on the Prescriber Details.

  • If you need a leaflet, you can override this setting on individual products as you dispense them, by selecting & to print on demand.

Sensitive content leaflets

When leaflets are set up to print automatically, some leaflets, due to their 'Sensitive' content, will produce the warning 'A sensitive DILs leaflet is available – do you wish to print it?'

The leaflet will default to NOT printing, therefore if one is required press & (print DILs leaflets). 'Sensitive' leaflets are attached to drugs taken for conditions such as cancer or schizophrenia.
