Enabling a Basic Online Services Account

Note - You must have System Administrator rights to enable and configure patient online services (England only - see RBAC Help in the Spine Services Help Centre for further details).

You can enable your patients to register for basic online services, also known as an Online Services User (OSU). Registering as an OSU allows patients to quickly and easily register and book appointments online.

Once registered, your patients can book appointments via your patient online services website. They are prompted via the Welcome screen that if they want to create a full online services account they need to provide two proofs of identification.

Note - If your patient's have a basic patient services account, they can only view appointments made online. Appointments made via your surgery, either in person or by telephone do not display.
Note - To print this topic select Print in the top right corner and follow the on-screen prompts.
