SIS 10660 Vision 3 Release

Summary of Changes

The following changes are included in the Vision 3 SIS10660 release:

Vision+ Merge

• Email - You can now send recall invitations to your patient's by email.

  • Recalling Patients by Email

  • Viewing Sent Emails

  There is also a new Email tab on the Settings screen, see Settings - Email for details.

  Note - This functionality does not use your practice email software. Emails are sent from Vision+ using a separate email service. Delivery receipts and email replies are not processed at this stage.

• Next Recall Due Date - The Merge screen now displays Invite Count, Next Due Date and Last Invite Type columns:

  

  To use the Next Due Date column, you must have Forward Dating set to either Forward Date or Rolling Days, see Settings - Forward Dating for details.

  Note - The Next Due Date can vary depending on whether it is a Practice List or a specific QOF/QAIF category.

• Mailing - If a patient has multiple addresses in their Vision 3 record, Vision+ uses the Correspondence Address as a priority when performing a mail merge.

• SMS Messages - Where a patient has an assigned Power of Attorney in Vision 3, Vision+ now has the ability to send an SMS message to an alternative mobile number. Vision+ uses the Power of Attorney SMS number as a priority when performing an SMS merge.

  The preferred method of contact, with the priority at the top of the table, is as follows:

  In this example, an SMS message is sent to the Power of Attorney first, if there is not a Power of Attorney contact, it is sent to the Correspondence contact and so on.

Vision+ SNOMED CT - England Only

• SIS 10660 includes the latest v35.6 SNOMED CT dictionary release.

  Note - All countries have access to the latest terms using Vision local codes which map to SNOMED CT terms in the background, see Vision Local Codes for details.

Vision+ Practice Reports - England Only

• Vision+ Practice Reports is updated in line with QOF 48 Business Rules.

QAIF Vision+ Practice Reports - Wales Only

• Vision+ Practice Reports is updated in line with QAIF 40 Business Rules. This release changes the end of the QAIF year from October 2023 to March 2024.
