CHADS2 - AF Stroke Risk Calculator
The CHADS2 - AF Stroke Risk Calculator is a method of calculating stroke risk in patients with Atrial Fibrillation. The patient is allocated points based on their previous medical history in the following areas:
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Hypertension
- Age
- Diabetes Mellitus
- Strokes or TIA
The CHADS2 risk score is calculated using the following data:
