Patient Does Not Consent to On-line Booking

Patients can withhold consent from on-line booking. If you attempt an on-line booking/referral for a patient that has dissented, the following message displays:

"This patient has not allowed access to their record for the purpose of electronic booking. This booking cannot be made online. Consult the manual or online help for details of consent mechanisms."

You are then returned to the referral form with Online Booking unchecked. The consent status can be changed through tools provided by NASP. If changed, you may try the booking again.
