Removing Unused Unique Booking Reference Numbers (UBRNs)

In order to stop unused UBRNs remaining on the system, for example, where an e-Referral is started but is then not required, when you delete it, the associated UBRN is also removed from the patient’s record.

You can delete an e-Referral by deleting either of the following entries in Consultation Manager, the

• Referral, or

• Referral Message Digest (RMD)

The associated UBRN is removed from both entries when one is deleted.
