PDS Mail Manager Messages
When a PDS update has been sent, the message in Mail Manager has a status of "Sent awaiting acknowledgement" if a success acknowledgement has not been received. The audit trail holds information about the message's lifecycle.
- When an update successful response is received from PDS, the status of the message changes to "Complete."
- Clicking on the Message tab gives details of the change(s) that have been sent. Out of date information is shown in red.
- Should the message be rejected, the status becomes "Processing Error" and details are available in the audit tab.
- Should the message not be transmitted, the status becomes "Transmission Error" and details are available in the Audit tab.
Both successful and unsuccessful PDS Update messages can be displayed in Mail Manager. However, in Tools - Options, if you leave Show PDS Updates unticked, this only displays messages that are unsuccessful or error messages, and hides successful messages; this improves performance and declutters your screen.
