Locality, town and county

1. From Validation, select Locality, Town &County.
2. In Text to Move, first type in the text of the address line of either a line in Locality, Town, or County, that you want to move.

   

3. Choose one of the options:
   • Move text from Town to Locality
   • Move text from County to Town
4. ... and in case you have made a mistake, the opposite options:
   • Move text from Locality to Town
   • Move text from Town to County

   For example, if some addresses include Forest Green in Town instead of Locality, type in Forest Green and choose the option Move text from Town to Locality:

   Incorrect address

   • House Name
   • Road 12 HIGH STREET
   • Locality
   • Town FOREST GREEN

   Correct address:

   • House Name
   • Road 12 HIGH STREET
   • Locality FOREST GREEN
   • Town

     Note - It will not move the entered text if the target field to which it is moving has text in it. The target field must be blank. In the above example, if Locality has text, then Forest Green will not move from Town to Locality.

5. Click OK to process.
