Therapy Alerts
High risk medicines are defined as those medicines that have a high risk of causing significant patient harm or death when used in error.
Therefore within Vision, therapy that falls under this criteria displays an alert when selected. This includes, but is not restricted to:
- Look-Alike drugs
- Sound-Alike (LASA) drugs
A prime example being Amlodipine/Amiloride which triggers the following Alert:
