Creating a WCCG Referral from the Floating Toolbar

You can trigger the Welsh Clinical Communications Gateway (WCCG) from the floating toolbar. This can speed up the referring process:

1. From Consultation Manager, with the patient selected and a consultation open, click and hold on the History entry you wish to refer.
2. Move your mouse and the floating toolbar displays, drag and release the History entry on to the Referral :

   

   The Referral - Add screen displays.

3. Complete and save the referral details as appropriate.
4. Select Letter to create a referral letter if required.
5. Select OK to save and close the referral.
6. The 'Do you want to add this referral to the 'gateway'?' prompt displays, select:
   • Yes to open your gateway, or
   • No to return to Consultation Manager, see Adding a Referral for details.
